Access your Digital eTextbook / 2-step / Courseware Purchase

To access your Online Bookstore, navigate to your bookstore website, and log in with your school credentials.

Log In> My Purchases tab

  • From the user dropdown menu, select Purchases.

  • Locate your item, and click Read eBook.

If your item is an eBook, the Bookshelf eReader will open into your MY LIBRARY in VitalSource BookShelf

Locate your book - in this case it was "We the People" 

  • If your eBook is just an eBook, you will see a bubble with "eBook" under it. Click on cover and begin to read. 
  • If your book is contains courseware, you will see a bubble with "access code". Use the 3 dots to the right of that bubble to obtain instructions on how to obtain your additional access code (sometimes referred to as a 2 step code, eResource code) 
  • use the 3 dots to the right of the access code bubble to reveal the additional code and follow the steps on how to redeem the code on the specific website from the Publisher
    • Once you click the 3 dots:
      • Click on Access code instructions
    • A pop-up will open. Before you reveal the access code:
      • Confirm you have the correct item for your course.
      • Review the linked Return Policy. Some items can not be returned once the code is revealed.
      • Once you’re sure you have the right item, click Reveal Access Code.

  • Click the Copy button to copy the Access Code.

  • Click Go to Website, to visit the publisher or third party website where you’ll need to redeem your code to start using your materials.

NOTE: Some publishers or third party providers may also require you to enter a Course Key in order to redeem your Access Code. This information can be found on your receipt, or you can request it from your instructor.

Please note that if you are experiencing an issue on the Publisher provided website, we recommend that you reach out to their support site for assistance as we are unable to assist on third party sites.
