This article describes how to access your online bookstore's digital Bookshelf through Vitalsource, and how to retrieve access codes for courseware products.
Bookstore and Vitalsource website:
- Visit the Bookstore website and log in with your student account.
- Click on your username at the top right of the website, then select "eLibrary".
- Locate the material and click "Access Now". This will direct you to the Vitalsource Bookshelf to access your content.
- If you are already logged into Bookshelf, you will automatically be directed to your course materials.
- If you are not logged in, Please login with your existing account. (Note: If you do not yet have an account, you will be prompted to create one with your school email.)
- Once logged into Bookshelf, you will be redirected to your materials.
Accessing Courseware from Vitalsource:
Some courses include courseware that is delivered by Vitalsource, and is accessed through the publisher's website. For these codes, there is a 2-step process to gain access that should be redeemed through a desktop. Access codes are not available for redemption via mobile devices at this time.
- Following the instructions listed above, visit your online bookstore eLibrary account to access your materials.
- Once in your Vitalsource Bookshelf, reveal your access code which is used to launch the materials on the Publisher's courseware website. Follow the "Instructions" link in the top right corner and the popup guide that appears.
Revealing codes and accessing the publisher courseware website:
- Confirm you have the correct item for your course.
- Click the "Reveal access code" button.
- Click the "Copy" button to copy the access code that has been revealed.
- Click "Go to Website" to be directed to the publisher's website and then follow the instructions on the publishers website. (Note: Some courses may require a course key as well, which should be provided by the instructor.)
Keep in mind that these kinds of publisher access codes are only intended to be used on the publishers website.

If your access code is not working, please contact the bookstore. If the texts edition is incorrect, we will work internally with the publisher and professor to correct it.
If your publisher account does not match the account used to purchase the code, you may have to contact the publishers customer experience team for further assistance.
